The
secret force of a winner
By Daniel Sais
There is a mysterious and magical impulse, which, being unique to the human being is also considered to be of a divine nature.
Indispensable component of success, energizer of winners, the enabling joy of action; I’m talking about enthusiasm, the key factor to the total development of any activity.
Victor Pauchet said this about it: “If great men have attained greatness, it is due to their intelligence, but above all thanks to their enthusiasm”.
Allow yourself to feel enthusiasm about the advantages and excellences of enthusiasm, a mental and physical state that will prodigiously stimulate your potential. You better believe that it’s worth it. Because while the lazy and pessimistic stand out for their inaction, uncertainties, and their failures, the enthusiast thinks, works for, imagines, and creates while finding the way that leads him to a better life.
Of course, common sense tells us that while we speak of a better life it must not be interpreted as an existence free of suffering and hardships, in other words a complete utopia. An old principle warns us that if we cannot change certain adverse circumstances, we can indeed change our attitude towards those circumstances. The sensible man, enthusiastic and in control of his emotions, knows that in the end the balance of life is favorable to him. In his positive attitude towards facts, things and people, he finds the beginning of action and the secret of happiness.
For everyone, even the most fortunate, life has reverses and setbacks that usually appear when least expected. However the person with a well-oriented mentality overcomes those tribulations and does not allow himself to be carried away by desperation and fatalism.
The enthusiastic person is he who believes in his own ability to transform things, who believes in himself, who believes in others, believes in the strength he has to transform the world and his own reality. That person is propelled to act on the world and to change it, moved by the strength and the certainty of his actions.
It is not “the things that are going well” that attracts enthusiasm; it is the enthusiasm that makes us do things well. If we believe that it is impossible to become enthusiastic about the present conditions in which we have been forced to live, it is very probable that we will never be able to leave such conditions.
It is necessary to believe in oneself, in the ability to do, to transform oneself and to change the reality that surrounds us. To stop being an unbeliever and to become an enthusiast about life, so that life can gets enthusiastic about us too !
